Catch b-ball fever! Saint Christopher students in grades 3 to 5 have the opportunity to play CYO basketball in the winter months on our school teams, and a good number of both experienced and novice players get involved each year.

Practices and games are held weekly from November through March at several area gymnasiums, including the upper campus and St. Patrick’s gym downtown.

3rd/4th Grade Junior Mites: The CYO Junior Mites division is an "informal" coed program.  As a developmental league, the primary goal is for students to have fun while learning the basic skills of basketball. There is no tournament for this team at the end of the year.

5th and 6th Grade Mites: The CYO Mites division has both 5th/6th grade girls teams and 5th/6th grade boys teams. Mites is a more competitive division, and each team competes in a city tournament at the end of the season.  In addition, our Mites teams participate in the CYO New Hampshire Catholic Schools Tournament held in February, with the opportunity to advance to the CYO New England Regional Tournament in March.  Many of our Saint Chris teams have traveled to Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island or Vermont to represent New Hampshire in this regional tournament!
