November 2023

October was so fantastic!  We had so much fun learning about light and sound.  These skills were used to complete our wonderful shadow stories for Halloween.  We also have become amazing writers and always start with a main idea.  In math we explored addition and began mastering our facts. 

 

November will be just as exciting. In math we will begin subtraction.  Reading will feature lots of information texts, a week on poetry, and a week on drama.  Writing will focus on learning simple paragraph writing including having a main idea. Theology will focus on learning more about Jesus' life and we will begin Advent learning.  We will transition to social studies and we will study Pilgrims and the Wampanoag tribe so we are ready for Thanksgiving.
