"Love one another as I have loved you"
We have this quote on our board in class; a reminder everyday that like Christ, we are to love one another.
As we approach the coldest months of the year, a time when so many are in need, please keep those who struggle with despair, loneliness, hunger, and pain, in your prayers. And, if you can do more, just like I teach the children, do more. Christ asked us to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the prisoner, quench the thirst of those who are thirsty. He longs for us to care for others in the way that he did. If you can't, pray, and if you can, pray and do as well. We continue to collect food for Corpus Christi and clothes to drop off for those who are without.
May your Thanksgiving be one filled with the blessings of Christ and, may we all remember the words of St. Francis, "The only things that we can bring to Heaven are those that we give away".
