May is the month of Mary!
As we enter the month, not only of the true blossoming of Spring, but of that of Mary, let us always be thankful for her "Yes", for without it where would we be?
As we approach the last month of school days, the kids in 3S and 3L are doing a deep dive into Archaeology. We begin our yearly dig and will make use of this opportunity from a scientific and historical perspective. The kids, and the teachers, will get dirty but it will be worth it to see the kids as they make amazing discoveries, right here in our own school yard.
As for Math, we are launching into fractions and decimals, and wrapping up the year with the study of Geometry. Reading continues to be a passionate focus, whether it is independent reading or the short stories in our school books, the kids are learning to more deeply understand story structure, plot, and character development. This has also aided them as the practice their own writing skills.
Please keep the kids in your prayers as they approach the end of the year and all of the joys, and challenges that the remainder of the year brings.
