Fall 2025

Welcome to a new year in 3S. I am so happy to say that this is my 3rd year here at St. Chris and along with my 19 students, we look forward to a year full of growth, both as Catholics as well as students. I believe that we should never stop learning and so it is my desire to implant in all of the students a passion for deeper understanding. 

 

There is nothing more important in life than Christ and each person's eternal life. As such, we start each day with prayer and religion, exploring the gifts of God's Love, Wisdom and Grace in all of our lives. Every topic is seen through the light of what God has blessed us with - knowledge, passion, and interest.

 

Throughout the year we will learn a great deal of Math - with a focus on the simplicity of math, no matter how complex it appears. Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and decimals will all be covered deeply. 

 

As a lover of reading, I will work to implant in the minds of all of the students a love of the written word. We will be working on using imagination and creativity to develop our own fantasy stories based upon the characters from the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis. in addition to reading that famous work, and others throughout the year. 

 

I will be teaching Social Studies this year as well, digging into the explorers and how their actions framed and founded this great country of ours.
