Welcome to Dr. Spidaliere's Class

As I make my first foray into making a website, I am pleased to do so now as a teacher at St. Chris. It was a remains a great blessing to me that Mrs. Clarke took a chance on me. Having taught at colleges from North Carolina, Virginia and New Hampshire and after spending 26 years as a psychotherapist, it has become one of the joys of my life to be here teaching at St. Chris and having the opportunity to influence the future of your children.

I am blessed with both a passionate and energized group of students. They are committed not just to their education but also to the caring and forgiving of others as they are being taught through the teaching of Christ.
January 2024

As we launch into a new year, I want to thank all of the parents and students who have made this new opportunity in my life - to teach and enrich the lives of the children under my care- such a wonderful and joyous one. We have begun this year in the right way, with a focus on God first followed by our education.

Every day begins with religion and each child is given the opportunity to learn and explore his or her relationship with God. We are blessed, her at St. Chris, to be able to openly discuss our faith and examine ways for each of us to be more Christ-like in  our lives and relationships with each other. Our class motto, taken from Paul's letter to the Ephesians, is "Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another as God has forgiven you in Christ."

Academically, we cover the range of topics from Math, Reading, Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. In Math we are working on Division, having mastered the multiplication tables from 0 to 10. We are reading stories that have enriched the children's understanding of God's creation - man and nature. The topics of our reading have also been tied in with both Social Studies and Science.
