April 2024

April will bring lots of sunshine and learning.  It will be a shorter month with Spring break, but we will still learn lots.  Reading we will be beginning our last unit in the reading program!  We will also take time to reassess for progress.  The reading program will focus on informational text.  In writing we will spend time learning how to write how-to pieces and continue to work on revising our writing.  Science will last the first two weeks of April with the study of animal and human survival and traits.  Social studies will be begin later in the month with the study of government and time-lines.  Math we will conclude geometry and begin money and time.  Finally Theology will focus on the sharing of God's love.
