        It's hard to believe it is almost October. The trees outside of our classroom are turning from green to yellow, and the days are starting to get shorter. But that doesn't stop how hard 3L has been working! We have been busy in all of our classes, learning in Religion about Jesus and his public ministry here on Earth, studying the Angelus and other prayers in our prayer books, reviewing greater than/less than and place value in Math, starting traditional tales and folktales in Reading (ask your child about "Grandma and the Great Gourd" or "Why the Sky is Far Away"), and in Social Studies we begin our studies with an exploration of the Regions of the United States and an overview of the seven continents and the five oceans. 

      We have also had the opportunity to go to Mass two times since school began, and listen to Father David and his wonderful homilies. What a blessing it is to be able to share our faith here at Saint Christopher Academy! We are blessed to have such a time to spend just being with our friends and teachers and learning about God! 

    I applaud the children for their commitment and hard work for all they do. They truly put forth an effort that makes me proud to be their teacher. Thank you for your children. They are truly God's gift to me.
