November News 4H

Religion We are beginning our studies into the 10 Commandments. We will be looking at each commandment in depth over the next few months. Our conscience and making good decisions will be a focus this month. Feelings of being responsible for our actions and our friendships.

Reading Gobble Gobble into a great book ... Our turkey books reports are due this month! They will look fabulous displayed in our hallway. We will continue to read non-fiction stories in our My View Literacy text. Animal Mimics is a class favorite as it teaches us how animals use many adaptations to survive.

Science (4th Grade & 5th Grade) Our Super Science magazines have arrived! YAY! In both 4th and 5th grade classes, we use an issue on Friday. There are many amazing articles that are science related along with a virtual piece that takes us to many places around the world without having to leave our classroom. The kids LOVE Super Science Fridays!

As this month comes to a close, I want to take a moment to count my blessings and thank you for the opportunity to teach your children.  Many blessings for a Happy Thanksgiving with your families!
