A little about me...
My name is Mrs. Emond, and I have been at Saint Christopher Academy for over 20 years! I started here the week of Christmas as a permanent substitute, and I have stayed ever since. My first position was the Science teacher, and I had a fifth grade homeroom. When the sisters retired, I moved to the sixth grade homeroom and taught math. I am currently teaching a fifth grade homeroom and math to the fifth and fourth grades. This is a very exciting change for me!
I am the daughter of an Army officer and moved around throughout my childhood. I have lived in various parts of the U.S. and Germany. When we lived in Germany, we traveled extensively throughout Europe. I loved traveling so much, I took on a second major in Spanish just to go to school in Spain.
I am married, have two children, and two dogs. We live in Merrimack. Both of my children went through Saint Chris.
Saint Christopher's has been my second home for most of my life. I went to CCD at the church, was confirmed, and also taught CCD here. This is my family's parish, as well.
I look forwarded to getting to know all of your children this year. We are going to have a great year!
