I can't believe it's February!

Religion: We will finish chapter 12. Then we will discuss how We Celebrate the Sacrament of Forgiveness, Jesus Gives Us the Eucharist, and We Gather for the Celebration of the Eucharist.

Math: We will learn how to subtract with two-digits, ways to make numbers, two-digit subtraction with regrouping, estimating differences, and using addition to check subtraction.

Reading: We will read a fiction story about a penguin and an informational text about the migration of butterflies, bats and birds.

Phonics: We will learn about the Long e sound with: ee, ea, ey, & y and Long o sound with: o, oa, & ow.

Grammar: We will be learn about possessive nouns and collective nouns.

Writing: We will predict whether the groundhog sees his shadow or not.

Science: We will finish up space with learning about the moon and the solar system.

Cursive: We have started cursive and the children are very excited!
